What you will do

• Lead an automated light-directed DNA synthesis platform for biomedical research and drug discovery.
• Develop oligonucleotide synthesis applications for diverse research functions.
• Apply optics, photolithography, and microfluidics to platform development.
• Support high-throughput screening and microarray printing projects.
• Use legacy instruments such as Quanterix Microarrayers and light-directed synthesizers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific area is required.
• Relevant backgrounds include chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Experience with optics, photolithography, and microfluidics is expected.
• Ten years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, eight years with a master's degree, or five years with a PhD.

Nice to have

• Experience with microarray technology, optics or microscopy, microfabrication, inkjet technology, or surface and materials science.
