What you will do

• Lead discovery efforts using phenotypic screening and chemical genetics to identify proximity-driven mechanisms.
• Develop disease-relevant cellular models and functional biology assays.
• Build and optimize high-content and high-throughput imaging and multiparametric screening platforms.
• Conduct chemical biology and mechanistic studies to determine compound modes of action and protein interaction networks.
• Use omics and data-driven approaches to analyze complex phenotypic datasets.
• Partner with cross-functional discovery teams, present findings, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Chemical Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field plus 2 years of relevant industry experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 5 years or a bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong expertise in chemical biology and small-molecule discovery, ideally including proximity-based mechanisms or molecular glues.
• Experience developing and executing phenotypic screening assays, including high-content or high-throughput platforms.
• Experience with disease-relevant cellular models and mechanism-of-action studies using cellular and molecular biology.
• Ability to integrate biology and chemistry and collaborate in a matrixed research environment.
• Track record of scientific contributions such as publications, patents, or presentations.

Nice to have

• Experience with proteomics, transcriptomics, systems biology, or target identification from phenotypic screens.
• Exposure to induced proximity or targeted protein degradation concepts.
• Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional discovery teams.
