Salary: $127,121.75–$171,988.25 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize high-throughput mass spectrometry-based proteomics workflows and screening platforms for drug discovery.
• Execute automated sample preparation and LC-MS/MS analyses across multiple high-throughput proteomics assays.
• Operate and troubleshoot high-throughput mass spectrometry systems and advance screening platform technologies.
• Collaborate with chemistry, biology, and disease area teams as a technical and scientific subject matter expert.
• Analyze high-dimensional proteomics data to generate insights into mechanism of action, target engagement, and selectivity.
• Present findings and maintain accurate documentation of experiments, protocols, and analyses.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 4 years of directly related experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 6 years of directly related experience.
• Experience developing mass spectrometry-based proteomics assays and analyzing proteomics data.
• Hands-on experience operating advanced mass spectrometry platforms, such as Orbitrap Astral.
• Experience with sample preparation miniaturization and automation platforms.
• Strong quantitative, computational, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to produce reliable and reproducible results in a highly integrated, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Doctorate in proteomics, chemoproteomics, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with targeted protein degradation or E3 ligase biology.
