What you will do

• Lead discovery efforts using phenotypic screening and chemical genetics to identify proximity-driven mechanisms and molecular glues.
• Develop disease-relevant cellular models and build high-content, high-throughput, imaging-based, and multiparametric assays.
• Apply chemical biology and mechanistic studies to determine compound modes of action, induced proximity mechanisms, and protein interaction networks.
• Use proteomics, transcriptomics, omics, and data-driven approaches to analyze complex phenotypic datasets.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to advance discoveries from screening through early drug discovery.
• Contribute to scientific strategy, present findings, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Chemical Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field plus 2 years of relevant industry experience; alternatively, a master's degree plus 5 years or a bachelor's degree plus 7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong expertise in chemical biology and small molecule discovery, including proximity-based mechanisms, molecular glues, or related areas.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing phenotypic screening assays on high-content or high-throughput platforms.
• Experience with disease-relevant cellular models and cellular or molecular biology approaches to mechanism-of-action studies.
• Ability to integrate biology and chemistry, support target identification or deconvolution, and contribute to cross-functional discovery teams.
• Track record of scientific contributions through publications, patents, or presentations, along with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with chemical genetics in phenotypic discovery.
• Familiarity with proteomics, transcriptomics, or systems biology.
• Exposure to induced proximity or targeted protein degradation concepts.
