Starting salary: $3,742.67 per month, negotiable based on education and experience.

What you will do

• Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention to individuals, couples, and groups.
• Document counseling services in accordance with Texas licensure requirements and institutional policies.
• Consult with peers and leadership on difficult clinical cases and participate in weekly supervision.
• Administer and interpret psychological tests, make referrals, and manage counseling case administration.
• Provide consultation and outreach presentations for students, faculty, staff, and parents.
• Supervise psychology and counseling practicum students and participate in research and evaluation activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in counseling, guidance, social work, clinical psychology, or a related specialty.
• Relevant college counseling field placement or supervised professional experience.
• Clinical competency in counseling and the ability to multitask and work cooperatively.
• Eligibility for Texas professional licensure as an LPC-Intern, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW; licensure must be maintained for continued employment.
• Compliance with Texas licensing-board ethical standards and applicable Texas law.
