RN, Perioperative Education Specialist (Nursing Education)

hirify.global operates the Elliot 1-Day Surgery Center, a high-volume perioperative facility providing minimally invasive surgical procedures and related pre- and post-operative care.

What you will do

• Coordinate perioperative onboarding, orientation, education, competency management, research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement with unit-based Resource RNs.
• Manage the Perioperative 101 program and develop new operating room nurses.
• Provide professional role development and facilitate student observations.
• Coordinate educational activities with other departments and representatives.
• Evaluate new products and equipment and educate staff on their use.
• Support surgical services including PACU, pre-op, interventional radiology, and endoscopy, while representing the department in committees and meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of operating room RN experience.
• BSN required; master's degree in nursing preferred.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license required.
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification required.
• Knowledge of nursing professional development, education curriculum design, educational technology, complex systems, healthcare quality, and regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Demonstrated career development, education, leadership, and project management achievements.
