Registered Nurse Supervisor

Location: New York, NY; onsite at a health center. Full-time schedule varies within site operating hours of 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.

Salary: $112,800–$141,000 annually.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Site Medical Leader and provide leadership to health center staff.
• Support staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and development.
• Manage clinic schedules and oversee nursing care for all patients.
• Provide direct patient care less than 30% of the time and respond to emergency situations within the legal scope of practice.
• Oversee clinical records, supplies, medications, equipment, infection control, safety, and patient privacy.
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management, investigate complaints, coordinate with stakeholders, and support health center policies and programs.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an Associate’s degree in nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Current hands-on AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required based on the contract scope.
• At least one year of proven clinical leadership experience is required.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic is required.

Nice to have

• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management.
