Location: Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus, Lowell, Massachusetts; onsite day shift

Salary: $37.50–$75.32 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care to emergency room patients and their families.
• Conduct, document, and evaluate accurate clinical assessments.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized care and discharge plans.
• Apply professional nursing judgment and evidence-based practice to patient care.
• Manage patient assignments, delegate appropriately, and educate patients and families.
• Precept colleagues, support new staff transitions, and participate in professional development and departmental committees.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Relevant department-specific certifications may be required.
• RN experience requirements vary by pathway level: Level I requires less than 12 months; Level II requires 12 months to less than 3 years; Level III requires 3 to less than 8 years; Level IV requires 8 years or more.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to apply the nursing process and perform the physical demands of patient care, including lifting, standing, walking, and maneuvering patients.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
