Senior Cloudflare Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Perth, Western Australia, Australia; predominantly office-based across client sites and hirify.global offices

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimise modern web application and API security controls.
• Manage Cloudflare virtual patching and security controls for externally accessible websites.
• Configure Bot Management and optimise Cloudflare Managed WAF Rulesets.
• Implement and tune WAF Attack Score ML-based detection.
• Discover, inventory, and validate schemas for externally exposed APIs using API Shield.
• Configure Security Analytics and Security Events, and integrate Cloudflare with SIEM platforms for monitoring, reporting, and evidence collection.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network application security.
• Recent Cloudflare experience is required.
• Experience with or understanding of Essential Eight standards.
• Ability to work from Perth in a predominantly office-based role.
