Senior Security Engineer, Platform Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Lead platform security efforts across cloud and on-premises systems by assessing risks, hardening platforms, and securing access.
• Own the security standard for the managed Kubernetes service supporting high-performance computing customers and NVIDIA H200 and GB300 hardware.
• Apply Kubernetes security practices covering RBAC, admission controllers, pod security, auditing, and network policies.
• Implement Kubernetes supply chain security with image signing, vulnerability scanning, and policy enforcement.
• Secure infrastructure-as-code pipelines, automate patch management, and use AI/ML-powered tools to identify drift and anomalies.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams on compliance, secrets management, privileged access, encryption, monitoring, incident response, and security awareness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in platform security, DevSecOps, or site reliability engineering.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards including CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
• Experience with Kubernetes security and networking, supply chain security, IaC scanning, secrets management, IAM/PAM, and SSL/TLS certificate management.
• Competence in Bash, Python, or Go, with systems knowledge covering Linux internals, networking, and distributed storage.
• Clear and effective English communication, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CKS, OSCP, or cloud security certifications.
• Experience in high-growth startups or regulated industries with SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or HIPAA requirements.
• Experience applying security principles to AI/ML operations environments.
