What you will do

• Investigate how genomic DNA organization and gene regulation in stem cells influence cell function and identity.
• Study chromatin structure, histone modifications, protein–RNA interactions, and their effects on gene expression.
• Independently perform, develop, modify, and troubleshoot laboratory experiments and protocols.
• Process, organize, summarize, and report experimental data.
• Contribute to manuscripts, posters, standard operating procedures, and policies.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, calibrate instruments, and train less-experienced personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific area.
• At least 7 years of research experience with a bachelor’s degree, 5 years with a master’s degree, or 2 years with a PhD.
• Strong background in developmental biology, molecular biology, stem cell biology, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of epigenetics, including chromatin organization, histone modifications, and epigenetic regulation of gene expression.
• Hands-on experience with ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, RNA-seq, CRISPR-based perturbation, imaging assays, or stem cell assays.
• Ability to design, execute, and troubleshoot independent experiments.

• Experience leading and supporting research experiments.
• Experience coordinating laboratory projects and research support activities.
• Experience guiding and training laboratory personnel.
