What you will do

• Apply functional genomics approaches across therapeutic areas to discover novel targets and address biological questions.
• Lead, support, and execute projects from inception through target identification and validation.
• Conduct mechanism-of-action studies using disease-relevant biological systems.
• Work with complex biological models ranging from in vitro to in vivo systems.
• Contribute to a collaborative, creative, and scientifically rigorous research environment.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral scientific experience in target discovery and biology; alternatively, a master’s degree with 3 years or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in molecular biology and cell engineering.
• Experience executing large-scale, complex, and/or in vivo genetic screens, particularly CRISPR-based screens, and follow-up validation studies.
• Familiarity with data-driven discovery, including integration of genetic or multi-omics insights.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, including the ability to drive cross-site collaboration in a matrixed research environment.
• Demonstrated scientific productivity, innovation, and successful work in new research areas.

• Experience with complex and co-culture in vitro models.
• Additional experience applying functional genomics to target discovery across diverse indications.
