What you will do

• Plan, execute, and coordinate complex research involving human iPSC culture, characterization, differentiation, and organoid model development.
• Develop, optimize, validate, and implement iPSC, organoid, and cell-based assay methodologies.
• Establish standardized workflows and quality control criteria for iPSC lines, differentiated cells, and organoid models.
• Perform and oversee molecular and cellular characterization using flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, microscopy, qPCR, protein analysis, and related assays.
• Analyze and communicate experimental data through reports, research plans, presentations, manuscripts, and SOPs.
• Guide laboratory personnel, support training, maintain cell banks and reagents, and contribute to laboratory operations and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree; foreign degrees require U.S. equivalency evaluation.
• At least eight years of progressively responsible experience.
• Expertise in mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique, and molecular and cellular biology methods.
• Ability to independently plan, execute, troubleshoot, and optimize complex laboratory experiments and protocols.
• Experience with data analysis, interpretation, quality control, scientific documentation, and coordinating multiple priorities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; basic Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with human iPSC maintenance, cryopreservation, characterization, directed differentiation, and somatic cell reprogramming.
• Experience with organoid culture, 3D cell culture, advanced human in vitro models, and stem cell differentiation protocols.
• Experience with flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, high-content microscopy, qPCR, Western blotting, CRISPR/Cas9, or metabolic phenotyping.
• Knowledge of developmental biology, regenerative medicine, cellular metabolism, mitochondrial biology, or metabolic regulation of cell fate.
• Technical leadership, laboratory training, scientific publications, presentations, or technical reports.
