Registered Nurse II

Location: Stephenville, Texas, United States; onsite at Student Health Services. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM or as required by operational needs.

Annual salary: $59,370–$61,498.80, commensurate with experience and subject to funding availability.

What you will do

• Provide direct patient care, patient evaluation, triage, physical assessment, and treatment under the supervision of the Director of Student Health Services.
• Administer medications and therapies as directed by physicians and advanced practice nurses.
• Maintain patient records, assess changing healthcare needs, and provide patient education.
• Operate and maintain the clinic, including medical supply, medication, and equipment inventory and requisitions.
• Maintain and operate the autoclave for sterile instruments and supplies.
• Deliver preventive health education programs for students and assist with the campus health webpage; serve as a Campus Security Authority.

Requirements

• Four years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Texas Registered Nurse license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of standard nursing procedures, word-processing and spreadsheet applications, and electronic medical records.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, teamwork, and confidentiality skills.
