What you will do

• Provide medical care to ill or injured students according to standing and physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs, patient conditions, treatment reactions, and significant incidents, escalating concerns to the appropriate medical leaders.
• Prepare patients for examinations and tests, assist the physician, and administer prescribed medications.
• Maintain accurate medical records, medical equipment, supplies, and medication inventories.
• Conduct or support student health examinations, screening, referrals, and medical counseling.
• Provide on-call service as directed and help maintain a safe, respectful, and health-conscious center environment.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state where the center is located.
• Two years of related experience.
• Experience working with diverse youth.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work full-time at the San Francisco, California center and provide on-call service when required.
