Clinic RN Sr.- Mesquite/Rockwall (Oncology)

Location: Mesquite and Rockwall, Texas; full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no weekends, on-call shifts, or major holidays.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate continuity of care according to professional and oncology standards.
• Assess patients’ health status, medical histories, and psychosocial needs.
• Provide patient and family education, instructional materials, and psychosocial support.
• Coordinate consultations, diagnostic testing, referrals, procedures, and future appointments.
• Manage medication refill requests, triage patient calls, and document information in patient charts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and act as a clinical resource for LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience is required; only Level II or Senior candidates will be considered.
• At least five years of nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology strongly preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; a BSN is preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Maintain continuing education requirements; oncology certification is preferred.
