Pharmacy Technician Representative - Compounding

Location: Fully onsite in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; typically no weekends or holidays.

Hourly rate: $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location. Eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Compound sterile and nonsterile preparations in a specialized compounding suite.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the compounding suite.
• Complete daily documentation in accordance with state, federal, and USP regulations.
• Perform regular cleaning activities while wearing a respirator, eye protection, and full sterile attire.
• Stand for extended periods and perform lifting, bending, stretching, reaching, kneeling, and ladder climbing as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Massachusetts State Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National PTCB certification preferred and required within one year of obtaining the position.
• Strong prescription-calculation math skills and excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow strict personal hygiene requirements, including restrictions on jewelry, makeup, hair extensions, false eyelashes, and long or false fingernails while working.
