Location: Vandalia, Ohio, United States; office or hybrid environment

What you will do
- Provide technical liaison support for aircraft mechanical systems throughout production, integration, and testing.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolve system-level issues, non-conformances, and test anomalies.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, interface requirements, maintenance manuals, and test data to diagnose system behavior.
- Support system, ground, and flight test readiness, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Develop and approve engineering dispositions, repairs, rework instructions, and temporary deviations.
- Coordinate technical actions across engineering, quality, manufacturing, and test teams while mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of mechanical or systems engineering experience, including liaison or test support.
- Strong understanding of aircraft mechanical systems and their interactions under operational and test conditions.
- Experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and interpretation of technical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
- Experience with assembly, integration, ground test, or flight test activities.
- Experience with FAA, EASA, DoD, or NASA aerospace regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with MRB, non-conformance management, MBSE tools, requirements management, instrumentation, or test analysis.
- Experience maintaining or modifying Boeing commercial aircraft.
