Electrical Manufacturing Engineer (Nuclear)

What you will do

• Design, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for nuclear product lines.
• Provide day-to-day support on the manufacturing shop floor and own product and process expertise.
• Create and modify manufacturing travelers, routers, procedures, and operator training materials.
• Select, implement, and manage manufacturing equipment, tooling, fixturing, and consumables.
• Investigate non-conforming products, process failures, and equipment issues through troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Lead process improvement, quality control, scrap reduction, audits, and engineering change initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Eligible degree backgrounds include Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Physics, and Engineering Physics.
• Proficiency with benchtop electronic test equipment, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with component-level electronic troubleshooting, failure analysis, engineering design tools, and electronic test techniques.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity or proficiency with nuclear counting equipment.
• Knowledge of Shainin or Six Sigma methods.
