Electrical Test Engineer (Nuclear)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States — onsite. U.S. Person status is required due to export-controlled information and site work requirements.

Salary: $80,000–$125,000 per year, plus bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and execute test strategies for electrical and electromechanical components and systems used in nuclear power plants.
• Translate customer purchase orders, technical specifications, and quality requirements into design, procurement, qualification, and testing documents.
• Define testing and qualification parameters, ensure compliance with industry standards, and anticipate potential failure modes.
• Facilitate factory acceptance tests, document results, and generate final reports and quality data packages.
• Evaluate failures, recommend corrective actions, and troubleshoot testing activities with test technicians.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, quality assurance, engineering, customers, and vendors while supporting project safety, quality, and schedule objectives.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status required; the role may involve access to export-controlled information and additional security screening.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in a testing environment; experience in a highly regulated industry such as nuclear is preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment and systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
