Test Technician III - Evergreen (Aerospace and Defense)

What you will do

• Lead advanced testing processes and develop or optimize test protocols.
• Conduct fault isolation, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and corrective actions.
• Analyze and document test results using laboratory test, calibration, and measurement equipment.
• Review and update test plans, procedures, and testing methodologies.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and engineering teams to resolve technical concerns and improve product quality.
• Mentor, train, and support the onboarding of junior and intermediate technicians while ensuring compliance with standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a related field and 3+ years of technician or related experience; 5+ years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and publications.
• Thorough understanding of test concepts and techniques.
• Progressive experience with laboratory test, calibration, and measurement equipment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, use hand and finger dexterity for troubleshooting, and work in potentially hazardous or loud environments while following safety protocols.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree focused on electronics.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 test standards and regulatory compliance.
• Manufacturing, aerospace and defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military experience.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
