Test Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at the facility in Cypress, California, United States

Salary: $24.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform functional, electrical, and mechanical testing and inspection of parts and assemblies according to work instructions, procedures, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Set up and operate multimeters, calipers, gauges, test fixtures, and other equipment to verify performance and dimensional conformance.
• Record test data, results, non-conformances, and traceability documentation according to quality system requirements.
• Identify defects and out-of-specification conditions and report process issues to supervisors and engineering.
• Track calibration status and flag equipment requiring calibration or repair.
• Support production technicians, safety and 5S standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, testing, or quality; internships, trade school, and military technical training are considered.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T callouts, and work instructions.
• Comfort using computers for data entry and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship, and effective communication skills.
• Must work onsite in Cypress, California, and meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or another regulated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with electrical or mechanical test equipment and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
