Field Service Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Provide on-site Field Service Engineering support across several concurrent program-related projects.
• Bridge engineering resources with operators and maintainers in the assigned portfolio.
• Support ISR systems operational sustainment, including avionics, communication systems, mission payloads, and related subsystems.
• Integrate and configure mission-system hardware and software subsystems.
• Develop standard operating procedures, system block diagrams, and subsystem integration and test plans.
• Plan, prioritize, schedule, and coordinate technical and management tasks while supporting testing and risk-management activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of on-site technical experience as a Group 3–5 RPA or General Aviation Special Mission Aircraft Field Engineer.
• Experience using spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and similar test equipment for troubleshooting.
• Ability to work across changing shifts and collaborate under time-sensitive constraints.
• Current SECRET-level security clearance.
• Valid US passport required.
• Preferred experience includes 10+ years supporting RPA/UAS field engineering, a relevant engineering degree, software integration and testing on Windows and Linux, network architecture, first-flight testing, EMI/EMC mitigation, soldered assemblies, cable and wire harness assemblies, A&P certification, and composites.
