Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States. On-site work is required, with occasional travel between facilities and to customer locations.

What you will do
- Develop test plans, procedures, acceptance criteria, and verification and validation activities.
- Perform functional, performance, environmental, durability, and reliability testing.
- Operate electrical, mechanical, and environmental test equipment, including oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems, battery analyzers, vibration tables, and thermal chambers.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
- Validate embedded electronics, sensors, RF and communication modules, and mechanical assemblies.
- Design custom test fixtures, maintain traceability documentation, and support prototype builds and production transition.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience testing small, battery-powered systems and hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical test equipment.
- Understanding of battery safety considerations and the ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of environmental qualification testing, military standards such as MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461, and reliability tools such as FMEA and HALT/HASS.
- Experience with data acquisition systems or automated test scripting, plus strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
- Military or medical-device testing experience is highly desirable.
