What you will do

• Perform human iPSC culture, maintenance, expansion, cryopreservation, and differentiation using established and evolving protocols.
• Design, execute, troubleshoot, and optimize cell-based assays, molecular and cellular biology techniques, and quality control procedures.
• Characterize iPSC lines and differentiated cell products using flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, qPCR, microscopy, and related assays.
• Analyze experimental data, maintain laboratory records, prepare technical reports, and contribute to presentations, manuscripts, and SOPs.
• Manage inventory, reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, biosafety, and laboratory compliance.
• Train junior personnel and collaborate with multidisciplinary investigators developing scalable iPSC- and organoid-based preclinical models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree; foreign degrees require U.S. equivalency evaluation.
• At least five years of related experience.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique, standard laboratory practices, and basic molecular and cellular biology methods.
• Accurate laboratory documentation and basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• The role may involve exposure to animals, animal materials, infectious materials, medical clearance, and immunizations.

Nice to have

• Degree in developmental biology, stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, cell biology, molecular biology, biomedical engineering, or a related life science discipline.
• Experience with human iPSC reprogramming, differentiation, quality control, organoid culture, or 3D cell culture.
• Proficiency in immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, Western blotting, microscopy, assay development, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks and data analysis software.
