What you will do

• Perform mammalian cell culture, including maintenance, expansion, cryopreservation, and characterization of human cell lines and iPSCs.
• Execute cellular assays and established protocols for iPSC-derived cell and organoid models.
• Apply molecular and cellular biology techniques, including immunocytochemistry, microscopy, flow cytometry, qPCR, and protein analysis.
• Maintain quality control for cultures, assays, reagents, equipment, and laboratory documentation.
• Collect, analyze, and report experimental data while maintaining detailed laboratory records.
• Support protocol optimization, reagent preparation, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and collaborative research projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Laboratory experience with mammalian cell culture, aseptic technique, and standard laboratory practices.
• Experience with basic molecular and cellular biology techniques and the ability to follow established protocols independently within a defined scope.
• Accurate documentation skills, basic Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Work may involve exposure to animals, animal materials, and infectious materials; medical clearance and immunizations are required where applicable.

Nice to have

• Human pluripotent stem cell and iPSC maintenance, cryopreservation, characterization, or directed differentiation experience.
• Organoid culture, 3D cell culture, or other advanced in vitro model experience.
• Experience with fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, qPCR, Western blotting, or related characterization assays.
• Knowledge of stem cell biology, developmental biology, regenerative medicine, or cellular metabolism.
• Experience supporting multiple projects in a collaborative research laboratory.
