Production Technician II - Evergreen (Aerospace)

Location: Sparks, Nevada, United States; on-site production work

What you will do

• Assemble complex electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies from technical diagrams and drawings.
• Inspect and test assembled products, document production activities, and report discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and maintain and calibrate assembly tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols, use required personal protective equipment, and work in potentially hazardous or loud environments.
• Support engineering and quality teams in improving assembly processes and production efficiency.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior production technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a technician or in a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
• Experience with electronic or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Basic knowledge of technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, manufacturing principles, assembly, soldering, and connectors.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• OSHA 10-Hour Training certification.
• Background in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. military.
