TL;DR
Electronics Assembler II (2nd Shift) (Aerospace): Assembling, inspecting, and reworking aerospace and defense electronic components and assemblies with an accent on soldering, production documentation, equipment operation, and quality standards. Focus on interpreting engineering prints and wiring diagrams, resolving non-conformances, maintaining safe manufacturing processes, and supporting Lean initiatives.

Location: Lynnwood, Washington, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $22.26–$27.45 per hour

What you will do

  • Perform electronics assembly processes using visual aids, verbal instructions, written instructions, and applicable military or assembly standards.
  • Prepare, clean, mark, inspect, and rework components, subassemblies, and completed assemblies.
  • Set up and operate assigned equipment and machinery while completing production paperwork accurately.
  • Interpret production and engineering prints, wiring diagrams, assembly aids, and production planning information.
  • Create and assist with IT, Facilities, and Non-Conformance Report work orders related to quality and material issues.
  • Support safety, 5S, KPI, Standard Work, problem-solving, audits, inventory counts, and other Crane Business System initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a fine soldering certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, reading comprehension, and basic computer skills.
  • Good color vision, near vision, depth perception, finger and manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and arm-hand steadiness.
  • Only US Persons may be considered where access to controlled data or information is required; the role is subject to ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

  • IPC soldering or rework/repair certification.
  • Experience maintaining equipment on a stringent calibration schedule.
  • Designated Inspection certification.
  • Ability to determine operation sequences and installation requirements from sketches and oral instructions.
