TL;DR
Production Technician II (Aerospace) (Hydraulic Testing and Manufacturing): Performing hydraulic, automated, and manual testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aerospace production units with an accent on test equipment, engineering specifications, and quality inspections. Focus on diagnosing failures, calibrating complex systems, documenting non-conformances, and supporting high-volume production test operations.

Location: Burbank, California; onsite manufacturing environment. Work hours are 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Salary: $28.04–$37.12 per hour.

What you will do

  • Perform hydraulic, automated, and manual testing of assigned aerospace products, parts, equipment, and systems.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, modify, calibrate, and adjust production units using electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic test equipment.
  • Interpret work orders, engineering drawings, test procedures, failure reports, manuals, and production specifications.
  • Document testing results, failures, and initial root-cause investigations through non-conformance reports.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production test issues and support customer visits and audits.
  • Support safety and manufacturing initiatives, including OSHA practices, 5S, KPIs, standard work, and problem solving.

Requirements

  • Only US persons will be considered because the role requires access to ITAR-controlled data and information.
  • Two to five years of experience in a related field or equivalent educational experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting, circuitry or mechanical characteristics, and product flow in manufacturing or repair environments.
  • Ability to learn test software and equipment, identify abnormal conditions, perform precise manual work, and use multiple software systems.
  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, manufacturing costs, and distribution techniques.
  • Knowledge of engineering electronics, circuit boards, processors, chips, computer hardware, software, applications, and programming.
