What you will do

• Set up tooling, fixtures, instrumentation, vibration tables, thermal chambers, TVAC chambers, and deployment fixtures for repeatable spacecraft production tests.
• Assemble and integrate satellite components and subsystems, including electrical harnesses and mechanical structures.
• Perform PCB handling, inspection, continuity and functional testing, soldering, bonding, cable routing, insulation application, and torque-controlled fastening.
• Measure, record, and document production data while detecting and resolving assembly or test anomalies.
• Collaborate with production, manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and product engineering teams.
• Improve assembly and integration instructions while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and ESD-safe practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on mechanical or electrical assembly experience, preferably in aerospace, space, defense, robotics, automotive, or electronics.
• At least 2 years of experience operating production equipment and machines, including environmental chambers, deployment fixtures, lifting equipment, and vibration, shock, or thermal cycling systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, torque tools, multimeters, ohmmeters, DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, and PCB inspection and testing equipment.
• Ability to interpret schematics, mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and basic GD&T.
• Strong teamwork, communication, organization, attention to detail, and comfort handling sensitive electronics and small mechanical parts.
• For U.S. roles, eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or other protected individuals under applicable U.S. export regulations.

Nice to have

• Current or previous IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 harnessing certification.
