Composite Technician II (Straight Flight)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States; onsite work at the designated work location.

What you will do

• Assemble and create major aerospace structures and perform minor part-fitting operations, including filing, sawing, deburring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming.
• Align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures.
• Measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.
• Modify incomplete and complete assemblies and incorporate structural changes.
• Install fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks and perform applicable airframe corrosion removal and refinishing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, publications, and maintenance documentation.
• Exposure to structure assembly and minor part-fitting techniques.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the work location.
• Ability to work different shifts and overtime when necessary.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• FAA CRS 145 Repair Station experience.
• Familiarity with GOPS and DCMA requirements.
• General or corporate aviation background.
• Experience with CAMP Systems, Corridor, Cescom, CMP, or AvTrak maintenance tracking software.
