Composite Technician (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Spanish Fork, Utah 84660, United States; onsite

Salary: $19.41–$21.41 per hour depending on shift; annual salary listed as $39,500–$44,500.

What you will do

• Prepare molds and forms for composite fabrication.
• Perform composite material lay-up, vacuum bagging, and curing.
• Mark, cut, route, drill, trim, sand, and shape composite and metal components.
• Assemble aircraft components using adhesives, rivets, threaded fasteners, and shop tools.
• Mix resins and catalysts, verify expiration dates, and follow material-handling procedures.
• Prepare, sand, and paint components while maintaining records, safety standards, and an organized work area.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in precision hands-on work.
• Ability to follow work instructions and required safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a structured aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Spanish Fork, Utah.
• Availability for one of three shifts and potential overtime.

Culture & Benefits

• Temp-to-hire arrangement with a six-month contract-to-hire period.
• First shift: 6:00 AM–3:30 PM at $19.41 per hour.
• Second shift: 3:00 PM–12:30 AM at $20.41 per hour.
• Third shift: 9:00 PM–6:30 AM at $21.41 per hour.
• For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer: major medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and statutory sick pay where required.
