Chief Operating Officer (COO) / General Manager - AI-Native Operator (AI)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; hybrid, with at least three days per week in the Los Angeles office

Salary: $185,000–$225,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the company operating cadence, goals, scorecards, reviews, and accountability systems.
• Lead planning, forecasting, budgeting, capacity management, margin improvement, and resource allocation.
• Improve service delivery, client health, quality control, and cross-functional handoffs.
• Build a leadership team with clear roles, standards, decision rights, and accountability.
• Turn AI adoption into documented workflows, measurable usage, quality improvements, and economic impact.
• Partner with the CEO on strategy while owning day-to-day operating performance and execution.

Requirements

• Experience operating a digital agency, recurring-services company, or comparable people-intensive business at meaningful scale.
• Direct ownership of P&L, margins, forecasting, capacity, and service delivery.
• Evidence of installing a system that produced a quantified operating result.
• Experience leading a company-wide AI or process change with measured adoption and leverage.
• Examples of raising leadership accountability while preserving speed and trust.
• Ability to work from the Los Angeles office at least three days per week.
