Chief of Staff to Chief Strategy Officer

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY. The role requires 30–50% travel, and an in-person interview may be required at a hirify.global office or hub during the offer stage.

Salary: $221,000–$304,000 annual salary for Bay Area hires; $211,000–$290,000 annual salary for New York City hires, plus equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Represent the Chief Strategy Officer in critical executive meetings, customer discussions, and industry engagements.
• Serve as a strategic sounding board by analyzing complex business and technical problems and turning them into clear priorities and action plans.
• Create executive- and client-ready presentations, strategic documents, meeting preparation materials, internal communications, and executive social media content.
• Lead enterprise storytelling, strategy retrospectives, and All-Hands presentations for the Strategy organization.
• Orchestrate strategy-led initiatives by tracking milestones, following up on cross-functional actions, and preparing executive updates.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Policy to understand products, resolve dependencies, and align execution.

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined experience in Investment Banking or Management Consulting and Big Tech, including roles such as Technical Assistant, Product Manager, Business Development, or Chief of Staff.
• Deep technical foundation and the ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts and products.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across multiple formats.
• Experience representing executives in high-stakes meetings and building credibility with C-suite stakeholders, enterprise customers, and board members.
• Strong analytical mindset, business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and ability to resolve ambiguous technical and business challenges.
• AI fluency and enthusiasm for AI tools, agentic workflows, and automation.
