Chief of Staff, Enterprise AI & Data Science (AI)

Location: United States — Remote

Salary: USD 137,340.45–185,813.55 annually

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic partner to the VP of AI & Data Science and drive departmental priorities and long-range planning.
• Coordinate annual planning, portfolio strategy, headcount forecasting, budgeting, QBRs, portfolio reviews, offsites, staff meetings, and executive readouts.
• Manage day-to-day execution, leadership meeting agendas, key decisions, initiative tracking, and cross-functional follow-through.
• Manage the internal AI and data science portfolio and prioritize requests for AI agents and applications across the organization.
• Support organizational design, capability mapping, staff transitions, internal communications, and engagement initiatives.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Technology, Communications, Product, and Program Leads on budgets, talent, project intake, prioritization, and delivery oversight.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4+ years of strategic planning, business operations, or consulting experience; or a master’s degree and 7+ years; or a bachelor’s degree and 9+ years.
• Exceptional executive presence, judgment, communication, and cross-functional planning skills.
• Proven experience leading strategic initiatives and operating with agility in ambiguous, matrixed environments.
• Expertise in executive-level presentations and change management.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence and collaborate diplomatically.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree in strategy, management, or a related field.
• Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or AI/data-driven organizations.
