Value Stream Manager (m/f/d) Sheet Metal Processing & Electronics

What you will do

• Lead the complete value stream for sheet metal processing, front panels, and electronics assembly from raw material intake through final shipment.
• Drive lean transformation and continuous improvement using Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, TPM, standard work, and visual management.
• Own safety, delivery, quality, productivity, cost, KPI performance, and execution of improvement action plans.
• Coordinate Production, Lean, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, R&D, and planning teams to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
• Lead capacity, resource, scheduling, equipment utilization, and workforce planning activities.
• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives, including machine metrics and MES systems, while developing supervisors, team leaders, and operational staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience focused on sheet metal processing and/or electronics assembly.
• Proven experience in value stream management, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and leadership of multidisciplinary production teams.
• Hands-on expertise with Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, TPM, Six Sigma, operational performance management, and data-driven decision-making.
• Understanding of sheet metal processes such as cutting, bending, welding, and surface treatment, plus electronics processes including SMD, THT, testing, and final assembly.
• Fluent English and German communication and presentation skills are required.
