Value Stream Manager (Lean Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead daily operations and continuous improvement activities across the value stream.
• Implement continuous product flow, pull systems, workload leveling, standardized work, and visual management.
• Drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, lead times, and customer experience.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, cross-training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Use PDCA and MDI processes, KPIs, and Leader Standard Work to deliver operational results.
• Lead and coordinate new product introductions within Operations and support facility strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive operations or lean management experience.
• Experience leading teams with diverse skill sets and driving cross-functional action.
• Ability to develop and execute short- and long-range continuous improvement plans.
• Ability to work onsite in Trenton, South Carolina, including regular standing, walking, and occasional lifting of 25–50 pounds.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of demonstrated Lean implementation experience.
• Lean, Operations, or Supply Chain certification.
• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
• Experience with flow principles, Kanban, and Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
