Field Service Technician

Location: Remote within the United States, with 100% travel to customer sites. Must be located in the Chicago, New York, Orlando, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Houston, or Denver metropolitan areas.

What you will do

• Install, inspect, commission, and start up mechanical and electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment failures, and complete corrective repairs.
• Read technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and work instructions while using diagnostic tools.
• Act as the primary on-site representative, communicate findings and recommendations, and support customer satisfaction.
• Complete service reports, identify additional service opportunities, and provide feedback for product and process improvements.
• Follow company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements.

Requirements

• Residence in one of the specified metropolitan areas is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of field service, mechanical, industrial maintenance, or related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and service documentation.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

Nice to have

• Technical certification or associate degree.
