Field Service Engineer (Clinical Diagnostics)

Location: Fully remote from the Atlanta, Georgia territory; candidates must reside within 90 minutes of Atlanta or be willing to relocate. The role requires approximately 80% travel with overnight travel within the territory.

Salary: $35–$39 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, modify, and repair clinical chemistry, immunoassay, and laboratory automation equipment.
• Provide efficient customer service and technical product training.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records.
• Order repair parts, adhere to service cycle times, and use OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to meet service requirements.
• Help train newer Field Service Engineers.

Requirements

• Associate degree; military experience or a high school diploma with equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least one year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel approximately 80% within the assigned territory, including overnight travel.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modification, or service repair experience.
• Experience developing stakeholder relationships and improving customer satisfaction and retention.
• Technical college major in biomedical technology, engineering, or a related field.
