Field Service Engineer (Medical Equipment)

Location: Remote within the United States of America; territory includes Rye, New York and surrounding areas. The role involves field-based customer visits, occasional overnight travel, weekend, holiday, and after-hours work.

Salary: $29.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade company equipment within established service timelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain equipment performance and service records.
• Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
• Support design changes that improve equipment efficiency or reduce operating costs.
• Coordinate customer service issues and follow-up with sales, marketing, quality, and research and development teams.

Requirements

• English proficiency sufficient for speaking, reading, writing, and understanding policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications.
• At least one year of experience in a similar field-based repair position.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain corporate credit card approval.
• Strong verbal and written communication, independent thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, perform physical tasks such as bending and pushing, work extended hours, and maintain customer-site credentialing requirements, including possible vaccination requirements.
