Field Service Engineer (Electro-Mechanical)

Location: United States of America; field territory includes Northern New Jersey, Long Island NY, and Rye NY. The role involves regular customer-site work, occasional overnight travel, weekends, holidays, and after-hours support.

Salary: $29.00–$32.00 per hour starting range.

What you will do

• Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade company equipment within service-management time requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain equipment performance and maintenance records.
• Analyze equipment failures, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, inspections, and procedures.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing, QA/QC, and research and development teams to resolve customer concerns and improve equipment efficiency.
• Manage customer communication and company assets, including a vehicle, parts inventory, test equipment, tools, and computer.

Requirements

• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without present or future employment-based immigration sponsorship.
• English proficiency required for speaking, reading, writing, and understanding regulated workplace materials and communications.
• High school diploma; electrical training or experience is strongly preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a field-based troubleshooting or repair position in the electro-mechanical field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to lift 50 pounds and work extended hours.
