Grant Administrator II (Research Grants)

What you will do

• Draft, edit, and refine proposal narratives for federal, foundation, and industry sponsors.
• Collaborate with faculty and research teams to communicate research impact, innovation, and broader impacts.
• Review proposals for sponsor guidelines, compliance requirements, and evaluation criteria.
• Develop boilerplate content, institutional descriptions, white papers, concept papers, and shared proposal resources.
• Coordinate proposal timelines, writing schedules, and quality assurance for major submissions.
• Deliver writing workshops and grantsmanship training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of grant writing, scientific editing, or research communications experience.
• Demonstrated success with funded federal proposals.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet applications, with the ability to multitask and collaborate effectively.
• Restricted to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents; employment includes a criminal history investigation and credential verification.
