Engineering Manager Body Worn Test - Quality Assurance, Lund

Location: Lund, Sweden; onsite role at the Lund HQ Campus

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Body Worn Test team, supporting individual growth and team development.
• Set team direction and priorities with development managers, product management, and the team.
• Ensure the team has the competence and capacity needed for upcoming work.
• Make testing an effective part of the agile development process and collaborate closely with development.
• Coordinate with QA teams and QA managers across Axis to share knowledge and improve ways of working.
• Follow up on progress, remove obstacles, and handle management responsibilities including salary setting, budgeting, and recruitment.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and developing engineers or other technical teams.
• Experience with software testing and agile development environments.
• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish are required.
• Interest in technology, quality, customer experience, and collaborative people leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with products combining hardware and software or with cloud-based solutions.
• Experience or strong interest in AI and the challenges of testing AI-based solutions.
