Head of Engineering (Agentic AI)

What you will do

• Own the security, isolation, reliability, and production readiness of the agentic AI platform.
• Build and lead the engineering team, defining how an agent-first engineering organization operates.
• Own the complete engineering lifecycle, including code review, QA, releases, monitoring, incident response, on-call, and SDLC standards.
• Define the platform boundary and decide which shared capabilities are provided to other engineering teams.
• Set technical and delivery strategy, hiring plans, team structure, and budget.

Requirements

• Experience owning technical and delivery strategy for a product area, with accountability for delivery, quality, and team performance.
• Experience operating systems where multi-tenancy, security, and operability are essential.
• Experience hiring, developing, and growing engineering teams.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and changing environments.
• Passion for AI-native engineering and using AI as a default way of working.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Application security or multi-tenant isolation experience.
• Experience with platform, API, or plugin-ecosystem businesses.
• Familiarity with LLM and agent architectures, MCP, and integrating AI agents with software systems.
• Experience scaling engineering in B2B SaaS.
