Systems Engineer Technical Specialist (O&M)

Salary: $135,035.83–$218,941.46 per year

What you will do

• Maintain, install, patch, and update internal and commercial off-the-shelf operational systems.
• Review system and network architecture, design documentation, and security processes.
• Diagnose mission-network issues and provide technical solutions for networking problems.
• Develop and administer requirements for cyber tools and assess information systems for validation.
• Coordinate technical strategy and cyber planning with inter-agency partners and support operations governance.
• Develop CONOPS documentation and support the transition of cyber research concepts into mission-ready capabilities.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10–12 years of experience, master’s degree with 8–10 years, PhD with 5–7 years, or equivalent experience in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a scientific or technical discipline.
• Ability to develop documented, actionable, measurable, testable, and traceable requirements.
• Experience analyzing technical risks, independently assessing projects, and recommending improvements to technical functionality.
• Experience developing CONOPS diagrams, comprehensive project plans, and ad hoc test cases with project and test teams.
• Experience working with intelligence community or Department of Defense targeting officers on technical operations involving access, exfiltration, collection, and covert action.
