Systems Engineer, Expert (Cloud/Communications)

Salary: $110,000–$215,000 per year, dependent on level

What you will do

• Provide systems engineering and technical leadership for complex mission systems and communications capabilities.
• Integrate, administer, and maintain communications, beaconing, tracking, and ATAK-based solutions.
• Configure and support mobile devices, cloud infrastructure, networks, VPNs, encryption technologies, and related systems.
• Gather, analyze, and validate technical requirements while identifying technical solutions and constraints.
• Support Assessment and Authorization activities and compliance with security and data-handling requirements.
• Troubleshoot integrated systems, develop technical documentation, and coordinate with technical teams, end users, and Sponsor stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 11 years of relevant professional experience in systems engineering, technical program management, communications systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Experience administering communications and beaconing solutions, managing cloud infrastructure, and integrating complex systems.
• Experience with Assessment and Authorization processes, sensitive data, regulatory requirements, and data-retention policies.
• Experience customizing, deploying, and maintaining Android phones and ATAK beaconing and tracking hardware, software, scripts, and code.
• Experience configuring and maintaining phones, laptops, tablets, firewalls, switches, routers, WAN/LAN systems, encryption technologies, and VPN applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Sponsor's Assessment and Authorization processes.
• Experience with push-to-talk communication tools and map imagery applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Entra, and Teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with Sponsor personnel.
