Software Engineer 2/3 (Java/Angular)

What you will do

• Analyze user and system requirements and implement software solutions.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain Java and Angular applications.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs, service integrations, PostgreSQL queries, and data access components.
• Support modernization through Spring Boot migration, monolith decomposition into microservices, containerization, and cloud migration.
• Implement document parsing and data processing capabilities.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team using four-week sprint cycles, code reviews, testing, documentation, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, and Confluence.

Requirements

• United States citizenship is required.
• An active TS/SCI security clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
