Systems Engineer (TD Support) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; no remote or telework allowed

Salary: $110,204.91–$179,802.75 annually

What you will do

• Review cyber system architectures, design documentation, and security processes.
• Develop and administer actionable, measurable, testable, and traceable requirements for cyber tools.
• Assess and validate information systems and identify technical risks affecting capability delivery.
• Coordinate with inter-agency partners on technical strategic plans and cyber strategies.
• Support operations governance and serve as a technical liaison across divisions and branches.
• Develop CONOPS documentation and diagrams while monitoring emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience, master’s degree with 6–8 years, PhD with 3–5 years, or equivalent experience.
• Degree or equivalent background in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience analyzing projects and programs to identify technical risks.
• Experience developing CONOPS diagrams using industry best practices and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Experience forecasting technologies and products related to the mission area and independently assessing technical functionality.
