Systems Engineer 2 (DoDAF)

Location: In office in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with FSP security clearance are required.

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year.

What you will do

• Manage system and derived requirements and allocate them across hardware, software, facilities, and personnel components.
• Develop and review system engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, Interface Control Documents, JCIDS documents, and IA strategies.
• Design system concepts, physical architectures, DoDAF operational, technical standards, and systems-and-services views, as well as SOA solutions.
• Define interfaces, manage the system baseline and configuration changes, and coordinate integration activities across multiple teams.
• Plan verification, testing, certification, accreditation, risk management, and quantitative analysis of system performance.
• Provide technical direction for requirements elicitation, functional allocation, architecture, integration, testing, operational concepts, and end-to-end system analysis.

Requirements

• Fourteen years of experience as a systems engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with FSP security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• IAT Level 2 certification.
• Ability to manage requirements, derive complete and verifiable lower-level requirements, and maintain traceability to source requirements.
• Ability to develop system architectures, interface definitions, operational concepts, verification plans, and technical documentation.
• Ability to coordinate cross-discipline reviews, configuration control, system integration, testing, and certification activities.
