Systems Engineer 2 (DoD)

Location: In office in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with FSP security clearance are required.

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year

What you will do

• Manage system, functional, derived, and allocated requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
• Develop and review systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, capability documents, requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
• Design system concepts, physical architectures, SOA solutions, and DoDAF operational, technical standards, and systems-and-services views.
• Coordinate interfaces, configuration changes, design reviews, testing, and integration activities across multiple teams.
• Plan verification and certification activities, including DoD Certification/Accreditation and JCIDS processes.
• Assess system performance, reliability, maintainability, vulnerability, survivability, and program risks.

Requirements

• Fourteen years of systems engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
• IAT Level 2 certification.
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with FSP security clearance.
• Experience with requirements analysis, functional allocation, system architectures, interface standards, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
