Maintenance Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Massillon, Ohio, United States; onsite at the manufacturing plant. Requires a flexible schedule covering days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends.

Base salary: $77,800–$97,300 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Direct maintenance personnel and coordinate corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to support production schedules, quality, cost, and safety priorities.
• Improve equipment reliability, maintenance methods, and processing systems to reduce failures, costs, and production downtime.
• Oversee maintenance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, utility, boiler, ammonia refrigeration, packaging, building, and grounds systems.
• Develop maintenance procedures, logs, training, spare-parts planning, operating standards, and corrective actions.
• Analyze downtime, support capital projects and factory improvements, and implement equipment modifications and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Lead safety, QRMP, TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and KHMS activities while supporting performance management and employee development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
• 1–5 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with maintenance management systems and understanding of direct and overhead cost systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems; ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems are advantageous.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends.
• Experience with TPM systems and Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting and programming is advantageous.
